Job Summary
Prepare accurate, high-quality food for patients following standardized recipes and procedures. Keep station and cooking equipment clean per infection control protocols. Begin and end tray assembly, including service ware, condiments, and hot/cold items. Cook lunch and dinner orders efficiently while identifying product needs and requisitioning supplies. Notify the Sous Chef in advance of expected shortages. Maintain a food handler's permit and one year of food service experience. Work full-time evening shifts from Thursday to Monday. As part of UW Medicine, deliver compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care to patients, families, and the community.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of, or eligible for, a food handler's permit
- One year of experience as a Food Service Worker
- Equivalent education or experience to the one year of experience requirement
