Job Summary

Banquet Cook is responsible for executing all food production for banquet and event service, with a primary focus on PM operations. This role requires high-volume, team-oriented work to support event execution from prep through service. The Banquet Cook collaborates with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure timely, high-quality food for large-scale events, including plated dinners, buffets, and specialty functions. Responsibilities include banquet prep and service, preparing proteins/starches/vegetables/sauces/dishes per event menus, assisting in large-scale plated service and buffet setup, ensuring proper temperature and quality, labeling and rotation of products, maintaining organized workstations, coordinating with banquet team and FOH, adhering to food safety and allergen protocols, following BEOs, and assisting with inventory, receiving, and waste minimization. The role requires 1+ year of professional kitchen experience (banquet or high-volume preferred), ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and availability for PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with banquet/catering or private club environments and culinary training are preferred. Physical demands include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
