Job Summary
Cook 2 position responsible for set-up, food preparation, and organization of the workstation with a focus on high-quality presentation. Duties include maintaining sanitation and safety standards, overseeing production of menu items, assisting in menu planning and recipe development, coordinating with Cook 1 and Cook 3, supervising junior staff as needed, and delivering responsive service to members and guests. The role requires collaboration with Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef, and may involve assisting in special events or shift leadership in the absence of senior cooks. Strong communication and adherence to club standards are essential to ensure consistent quality and service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4 years kitchen experience
- Food Handler Certification as required by state/city
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 100 lbs
- Physically able to perform duties in varying temperatures
- Ability to assist in supervising Cook 1 and others
- Team-oriented with customer service focus
Desired Qualifications

- 4+ years of kitchen experience
- Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations
- Strong communication skills
