Job Summary
Prepare food to comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and department rules while maintaining proper food temperatures and storage. Keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, and sanitized; use waste control guidelines and record spoilage. Perform opening, closing, side work duties, and end-of-day inventory. Work part-time shifts including days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and events with overtime as needed. Requires at least one year of back-of-the-house food service experience, ability to read prep sheets and recipes, and physical capability to lift 50 lbs, stand, and operate kitchen equipment. Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service position
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
- Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
- Must be able to reach up to seven feet
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to squat
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of the shift in moderate to high noise levels
- Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Must be available for Evenings
- Must be available for Holidays
- Must be available for Weekends
- Must be available for Events
- Must be available for OT as needed
