Job Summary
Cook position at BRC responsible for preparing, serving and cleaning up meals for New Yorkers experiencing homelessness. Role includes maintaining proper food storage, refrigerators/freezers, receiving food deliveries, picking up supplies as needed, and assisting with general cleaning; hours are full-time, 37.5 hours/week, Thursday–Monday 11am–7:30pm. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED preferred, a food protection certificate, and TB clearance; vaccination preferred but not required.
