Job Summary
Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, ensuring exceptional quality food is attractively presented in a timely fashion. Maintain strict health protocols, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and correct food temperatures. Familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences, participating in resident orientations. Work Friday and Saturday shifts from 10:00am to 6:00pm at Rushwood Senior Living in Wichita, KS. Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Current Food Handlers Card
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Comfort with extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers
- Ability to work primarily indoors and outside for events
- Criminal clearance
