Job Summary
As a Cook 1, you will set up, prep, and organize your workstation to support kitchen operations, preparing and storing food items for your station while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation. You will work closely with Cook 2 and Cook 3 to ensure quality and presentation of daily specials, salads, entrees, and other menu items, receive and store goods, manage items used by others, and maintain a safe, efficient, and professional work environment. You will communicate needs or issues to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef, accommodate member and guest requests, participate in delivering the 3-steps of service, resolve guest concerns professionally, and assist with additional duties as assigned by management. You are expected to follow all safety guidelines, maintain required certifications, and contribute to a positive team environment in a club setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment
- Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
