Cook 1 (Batch Cooking) prepares, portions, cooks, and presents a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events, supporting hospital operations and patient nutrition. Must read and follow recipes unsupervised, operate kitchen equipment, and maintain high standards for work areas. Requires a High School diploma or GED or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience; Food Handlers Certificate preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays; capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to ~50 pounds; strong communication, teamwork, safety, and inclusivity mindset.
