Job Summary
Design and implement business strategy with the CEO while setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth. Establish operating procedures for global processing facilities and the UK laboratory, alongside health and safety policies. Oversee daily operations, evaluate facility and employee performance, and negotiate contracts for capital items. Assist in fundraising, drive growth through acquisitions and joint ventures, and manage partner relationships. Act as the liaison for client quality assurance and provide employee mentoring. Requires proven COO experience in processing industries, strategic planning skills, and strong leadership abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as COO or relevant role within a processing industry
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Relevant technical degree and qualifications
