Job Summary
Convolutor Operator Trainee on 1st & 2nd shift. Responsible for setting up and operating the tube convolution testing machine to process rotating metal workpieces, including tool and die preparation, mandrel handling, hydraulic forming, and PS 499 compression templates. Perform tool selection and adjustment, load tubing onto mandrels, run computer-controlled programs via touch screen, trim hose ends, inspect using shadowgraph and wall-thickness gauge, measure with micrometer and calipers, monitor hydraulic forming pressure, document activities, and maintain tooling. Requires 1-year certificate or 3–6 months related experience; include lifting up to 25 pounds. In-person role in Laconia, NH with shift differential on 2nd shift; benefits include 401(k), health insurance, EAP, FSA/HSA, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
