Conveyor Technician in Troy, AL

Job Summary
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on overhead bridge cranes and conveyor systems, including inspecting gear drives, bearings, couplings, wire rope hoists, and VFD controls. Troubleshoot electrical circuits, read diagrams, and disassemble complex equipment while adhering to OSHA, CMMA, and ANSI guidelines. Interface with customers to communicate repairs, upgrades, and recommended inspections, maintaining professional rapport during breakdowns. Fabricate and weld components as a plus, working at heights up to 100+ feet and occasionally lifting 50 lbs. Work off shifts, weekends, and overtime as required, with on-call rotation and travel to Troy, AL and other service locations.
