Converting Operator (60660)

Responsible for the safe operation of Flexo and/or Die Cutter Machine Centers. Set up rails, print, and die cut sections on Flexo; inspect dies before and after runs; ensure bolts for cutting dies are secure; monitor box quality and check for warp, correct size, and print; inspect anilox rolls for damage; maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed. Train and assist First Helper, Flexo Stacker, and Bundlers, with cross-training on other machines. Complete timely production, machine status, safety, and quality reports; submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs; participate in maintenance activities and switch duties with First Helper as needed. Adhere to the production schedule and suggest improvements to meet cost, quality, and service goals. May have additional duties as assigned. Required skills include reading shop cards and die cut diagrams, effective verbal and written communication, and strong mechanical aptitude; experience with high-speed Flexos/Rotary Die-Cutters preferred. Shift noted as Second Shift (3pm - 11:30pm); location is MCDONOUGH, GA.
