Job Summary
Packaging roll material from the winder, loading/unloading rolls safely, and winding/rewinding finished product per work order instructions. Operate equipment controls, perform machine set-ups, and prepare samples with printing and labeling for customers. Obtain material from inventory bins, resolve drawing conflicts, and maintain a clean, safe working environment while adhering to company policies. Check operating controls and safety stops before starting equipment, notify supervisors of hazards or defective materials, and maintain lift cart certification. Requires legible handwriting, ability to lift under 50 lbs, and effective communication skills. Shift runs 11 PM to 7:30 AM with Fridays and Saturdays off.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to perform some lifting (<50 lbs.)
- Must have legible handwriting skills
- Must be able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions
- Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with other employees
- Must maintain lift cart certification
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
