Job Summary
Conversion Machine Operator on 2nd Shift responsible for semiskilled operation of packaging equipment and processes including packaging roll material from winders, loading/unloading rolls, and winding/rewinding finished products. Duties include preparing samples, printing and labeling material for customers, performing machine set-ups per work orders, adhering to safety stops and controls, maintaining legible handwriting for documentation, following work orders/drawings, and keeping a clean, safe work environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, understand and execute routine instructions, and collaborate effectively with coworkers. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and Airtech lift cart certification; position is based in Huntington Beach, CA with in-person duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or related work experience
- Ability to perform lifting (<50 lbs)
- Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees
- Must maintain Airtech lift cart certification
