Job Summary
Convention Service Manager position at DoubleTree by Hilton Nashville Downtown responsible for the efficient operation of the Convention Services section within Sales. Duties include coordinating administrative tasks, organizing function requirements, directing room service for VIP amenities, coordinating with sales/front office/reservations on guest room blocks and special needs, assigning banquet/meeting room setups, reviewing banquet staff work, conducting site inspections, promoting hotel facilities, assisting with lead development and rebooking, planning pre/post-convention meetings, and maintaining group activity data. Requires knowledge of lighting and sound equipment, computer systems, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule; responsibilities also include assisting banquet staff with room setup and supporting catering and banquet events.
