Convenience Store Team Member Part Time Evenings

Job Summary
Process financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, bottle refunds, voids, and coupons accurately. Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking products while running the cash register and performing suggestive selling. Maintain a clean and well-stocked department, ensure proper use of product identification and PLU's, and report pricing errors. Communicate in-store specials, coupons, and company programs to customers while complying with safety, food safety, and security guidelines. Follow all PPE and Guest Experience Guidelines, and may be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer needs. This part-time evening role requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of prior retail or related experience
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good customer service and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Ability to work in a retail store environment with varied temperatures
- Ability to be exposed to outside weather conditions
- Ability to comply with a typical retail store environment
Desired Qualifications
