Job Summary
The Convenience Store Team Member delivers courteous customer service, processes transactions at the point of sale, handles cash and various payment methods, and assists in overall gas mart operations including fuel pumps and related documentation. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations for tobacco, lottery, and alcohol, maintaining safe food handling, cleaning, stocking merchandise, opening/closing procedures, and promoting Fleet Farm loyalty programs. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, flexible schedule, and strong communication; HS diploma/GED preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures, including simple math
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work in a variety of temperatures, including the cooler, freezer, and external/outdoor temperatures
