Job Summary
The Convenience Store Team Member at Fleet Farm delivers friendly, efficient customer service while handling fuel sales, store merchandise, and point-of-sale transactions. Responsibilities include processing monetary transactions, following regulations for tobacco, lottery, and alcohol, maintaining safe food handling, operating gas-pump and fuel-island equipment, managing spills and hazardous material procedures, keeping sidewalks clear, answering questions about location and pricing, maintaining stock and restocking as needed, opening/closing the store and ensuring security, performing cleaning tasks, setting up product displays per company directives, and promoting Fleet Farm loyalty programs and other initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in temperatures including cooler, freezer, and outdoor
