Job Summary
Process financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, bottle refunds, voids, and coupons accurately. Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking products while maintaining a clean and well-stocked department. Perform front-end duties such as running the cash register, suggestive selling, enrolling guests in loyalty programs, and ensuring proper use of product identification and PLU's. Communicate company programs, in-store specials, and coupons to customers while complying with safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines. Follow all PPE and safety protocols, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and standing for extended periods. High school diploma or GED required; one year of retail experience preferred. Full-time position available at the Marshall, Michigan location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of prior retail or related experience
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good customer service and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Ability to work in a retail store environment with varied temperatures
- Ability to be exposed to outside weather conditions
- Ability to comply with PPE and Safety Guidelines
- Ability to comply with Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
- Ability to comply with Guest Experience Guidelines

- Ability to comply with Company policies regarding security, cash handling/cash drawer accounting procedures
- Ability to comply with Company policies regarding product handling
- Ability to comply with Company policies regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco products
- Ability to maintain a clean and well-stocked department and outside grounds
- Ability to ensure the department complies with Company safety and sanitation procedures and standards
- Ability to assist with stocking items on the sales floor, cooler, and back room
- Ability to follow all Guest Experience Guidelines
