Job Summary
Controls Technician responsible for programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of Building Automation Systems (BAS) controlling HVAC equipment; interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to determine wiring terminations; install, commission, troubleshoot, and service DDC components; complete project checkout including point-to-point commissioning; meet project deadlines; maintain open communications and develop customer relationships; collaborate with a manager, project manager and office staff; must be able to operate a variety of tools and work in different environments; experience with Honeywell, Distech and Johnson Controls preferred; Tridium Niagara Certification preferred; valid driver license required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years HVAC controls experience
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively with others
