Job Summary
Control System Technician responsible for programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of Building Automation Systems (BAS) controlling and monitoring commercial building HVAC equipment. Also responsible for interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings, installing and replacing field controllers, completing point-to-point commissioning, documenting service reports, meeting project deadlines, developing customer relationships, and delivering high-quality workmanship with effective communication under supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years HVAC controls experience
- Experience with Honeywell, Distech and Johnson Controls preferred
- Tridium Niagara Certification preferred
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Must clearly communicate in verbal and written form
- Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively with others
