Job Summary
Controls Technician at Plastipak in Newark, OH. Responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic and conveyor systems, vision systems, production equipment, and plant support machinery. Program Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Vision Systems, and networking; engineer MTBF improvements to enhance equipment reliability. Requires an Associate’s degree (strongly preferred), plus 5+ years electrical/mechanical experience and 3+ years PLC programming/troubleshooting ladder logic. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience
- Minimum of 3 years of PLC programming and troubleshooting ladder logic
- Strong ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
- Physical requirement includes the ability to lift & move up to 75 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
