Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Automation Controls Technician to monitor and enhance the reliability of automated systems in a manufacturing environment. This role involves troubleshooting electrical and automation issues, maintaining control devices, and training personnel on systems.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming (ladder logic, structured text)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial AC/DC electrical systems
- Familiarity with HMIs, sensors, level controls, VFDs, and related components
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of CMMS systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of NEC standards and OSHA safety protocols
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to train and mentor others in control systems
