Job Summary
Conduct expert-level break-fix and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and complex control systems, utilizing predictive technologies like infrared thermography and vibration analysis for equipment condition assessment. Troubleshoot software and hardware configuration issues, program control systems, and independently perform repairs using hand and specialized tools. Lead continuous improvement activities to drive cost savings, source parts and engineered solutions, and prepare input for cost analysis and repair proposals. Maintain CMMS records, update documentation on technical innovations, and train less proficient technicians while adhering to strict safety and 5S standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry
- Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment
- Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs
- Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
- May be required to travel
