Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of Controls Technicians to install, program, commission, and service building automation systems. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure high-quality execution, adherence to project requirements, and exceptional system performance. Provide advanced troubleshooting, review diagnostics and commissioning reports, plan workloads, allocate resources, and serve as the primary technical contact for customers. Maintain thorough documentation, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and drive continuous improvement to enhance team efficiency and project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in HVAC, electronics, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC controls or building automation systems
- Leadership or mentoring experience strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in programming and commissioning building automation systems
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building automation, and control theory
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and control documentation
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a team environment
