Job Summary
Performs system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Troubleshoots/basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems; responds to basic warranty calls; loads system-level controller software; calibrates systems; completes commissioning documentation; communicates with customers on arrival and before leaving the work site; follows safety standards; provides recommendations and solutions to improve facility efficiency and may upsell solutions with quotes. Includes documentation for as-built records and coordination with JCI contractor or customer throughout on-site work.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field or at least 2 years of industry experience or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry
- HVAC controls systems knowledge
- facilities management systems knowledge
- site preparation
- peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques

- leadership to support activities of mechanics
- PC experience and ability to program HVAC related software
