Job Summary
Performs system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools for building automation; loads system-level controller software and performs basic diagnostics from controllers to end devices such as sensors and actuators; completes commissioning documentation, provides on-site service to resolve building inefficiencies, and acts as a trusted advisor to customers with solutions at the time of service; calibrates systems with basic electronic test equipment; maintains communication with customers and contractors on arrival and departure; requires a 2-year degree in electronics or related field (or equivalent experience) and PC proficiency, with knowledge of HVAC controls systems and facilities management; safety training and adherence to Zero Harm policy emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field or at least 2 years of industry experience or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
