Job Summary
Performs system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools; troubleshoots basic HVAC mechanical/electrical/controls problems; responds to warranty calls; provides on-site solutions and outcomes; loads system-level controller software and conducts basic commissioning/diagnostics from controllers to end devices; maintains progress updates with management/customers; calibrates systems with basic electronic test equipment; completes commissioning documentation and as-built information; communicates upon arrival and departure; adheres to safety standards and participates in safety training; identifies upsell opportunities and provides quotes to support recommended solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field
- or at least 2 years of industry experience
- experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in HVAC industry
- knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques
- effective interpersonal skills
- ability to explain technical information
- leadership skills to support activities of Mechanics
- PC experience and ability to program HVAC related software
