Controls System Technician (7pm-7am/ Night Shift)

Job Summary
Troubleshoot and maintain controls components for production and utility equipment to ensure reliability, proper line performance, and safe operation. Diagnose chronic control system issues by analyzing electrical schematics, meters, and oscilloscopes interfaced with PLCs, HMIs, and servo systems. Modify control systems through program changes and wiring adjustments while collaborating with Operations, Process Engineering, and suppliers for new equipment installations. Perform upgrades on obsolete components including PLCs, HMIs, and Variable Frequency Drives. Provide off-hour support on a recurring basis and maintain a clean work area. Requires high school diploma with electronics associate degree, 1-3 years industrial experience, and knowledge of electrical theory and NEC/NFPA-70E standards.
