Job Summary
Answer and solve technical support calls for AAON controls, assisting in testing and troubleshooting digital systems. Perform job site startup and troubleshooting with field personnel while evaluating escalation needs to Mechanical Support or Engineering. Use the Test Bench to assist technicians with hardware I/O, SOO, and Applications. Maintain administrative duties and be available for afterhours field support during the work week, weekends, and holidays as needed. Some travel is expected. This role supports AAON's mission to deliver cutting-edge HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial indoor environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be available for afterhours field support during the work week, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Lift up to 10lbs
- Required to sit, use hands talk and hear 85 % of work hours
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color
- Some travel is expected for this position
- Ability to follow directions
- Works effectively in a team environment
- Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Electronic/digital low voltage controls
- Multi-Meter

Desired Qualifications
- Any Technical Trade School training is preferred
- Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Automation is a plus
- HVAC or Electrical training is preferred
- Demonstrates strong leadership abilities
- Communicates effectively in written and spoken form
- Exhibits good decision making and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills
- Works with minimal supervision
