Controls Service Technician (Westchester)

Job Summary
Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency service calls on existing BMS, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing system components including sensors, actuators, controllers, and networking devices. Perform functional testing, system validation, and software programming for equipment start-up, tuning, and commissioning of BAS. Monitor customer buildings to ensure optimum performance standards, fine-tune systems, and identify opportunities for upgrades or retrofits. Conduct building surveys and work with the Service Manager on estimating additional projects. Stay informed of industry developments for energy savings strategies and provide feedback to supervisors for process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Field experience in the HVAC controls industry including DDC Systems commissioning, software integration operation, calibration and experience with pneumatic
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical
- Strong communication, organizational and documentation
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, N4 Workbench, AutoCAD, various operating
- Proven track record of completing projects, being self-motivated and achieving customer satisfaction
