Job Summary
The Controls Service Technician III performs startup, checkout, and troubleshooting for HVAC control systems, including loading programs, licenses, and firmware; configuring IP settings and graphics; performing migrations from P2 to BACnet; on-site startup and commissioning for new constructions and retrofits; conducting system inspections and documentation; providing customer demonstrations and training; and supporting field technicians through technical guidance. The role requires extensive hands-on work with electronic control systems, building automation, BACnet/IP systems, and related software/hardware, with on-call rotation and travel within the Kansas/Midwest region.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a mechanical capacity
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
