Controls Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Job Summary
Lead multi-site, hyperscale data center automation programs (20 MW to 200+ MW) and oversee all phases of construction execution from design-assist through IST and owner turnover. Manage field teams and subcontractors on BMS/BAS/EPMS, PLC/SCADA, and automation scopes; coordinate with electrical/mechanical trades; develop build sequences; drive schedule, procurement, commissioning, and startup activities; manage EPMS, DCS, fire-life-safety, and DCIM platforms; chair weekly meetings with owners, GCs, trades, and commissioning; respond to RFPs/RFQs and manage change orders; maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; develop and submit MOPs, SOPs, EOPs; utilize Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, BIM360; contribute to innovation with AI tools, BIM, and data analytics; mentor assistant PMs and engineers; travel up to 20-50% to project sites. Qualifications include 5+ years in mission-critical controls/automation PM and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; familiarity with BMS/BAS/EPMS, NFPA 70E, and relevant standards; PMP or credentials a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience delivering large-scale mission-critical controls or automation project management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field OR equivalent military/industry experience
