Job Summary
As the Controls Project Manager/Controls Lead Systems Specialist, you will plan, execute, and complete control systems projects while ensuring customer satisfaction and financial results. Responsibilities include hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, network commissioning, and project closeout. You will manage project costs, billings, and collections, coordinate communication with customers, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and safety standards. The role requires strong communication skills for conveying technical information, coaching team members, and managing subcontractors effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a technical Associates Degree
- Two years of field experience in the HVAC industry or four years of equivalent related field experience
- Relevant technical hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems
- Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience
- Demonstrated ability to perform work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Strong personal computer skills
- Knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of project accounting, costing principals and contracting
