Job Summary
Collaborate with department managers, project management, and design teams to define scope, concept, and engineering for automation projects. Design and commission automation systems including assembly lines, material handling, robotic cells, and vision inspection systems while troubleshooting shop-floor issues. Work in partnership with electricians and programmers to guide project requirements, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure program backup and storage meet company standards. Communicate project status and solutions to management, staff, and customers, with occasional global travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Specialized Experience
- Minimum 2+ Years' Experience within the Automation or Automotive Manufacturing Field
- Previous experience required with the following software packages: Rockwell Studio 5000
- Previous experience required with the following software packages: Siemens TIA Portal
- Previous experience required with the following software packages: Omron CX-One/Omron Sysmac Studio
- Occasional travel as required Globally

- Welding technology training
- Knowledge and ability to program Robots: ABB
- Knowledge and ability to program Robots: Fanuc
