Job Summary
Controls and Process Engineer tasked with leading engineering efforts to troubleshoot and optimize existing automated equipment, research and recommend new manufacturing equipment, and provide technical support to production. Senior level will collaborate with operations, R&D, quality, and safety to monitor and control all phases of new equipment development from design approval through implementation, validation, and release to production; analyze manufacturing data to identify improvements; troubleshoot and expand robotics, motion control, and vision system implementations; determine parts, tools, and processes to meet product specifications; support PFMEA management; manage transition of new product development to production; ensure manufacturability and early design for manufacture; identify opportunities for process improvement and lead or support initiatives; monitor and report project progress to stakeholders and management. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, experience in controls and automation, CAD competency, ladder logic/PLC (Allen Bradley preferred), ability to read electrical schematics, experience with sensors, pneumatics, vision systems, and strong problem-solving/analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.
