Job Summary
Designs, configures, and operates technically complex building control systems (fire, security, lighting, nurse calls, data networks) per contract documents; develops software programs, conducts commissioning, and creates submittals and drawings for customer, consultant, and field teams; coordinates materials, sequencing, and testing, while ensuring safety and alignment with project schedules; collaborates on system validation, field changes, and owner/operator training to deliver reliable, cost-effective building automation solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum seven years of experience or an associate degree with seven years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of construction or HVAC industry
- Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems
- Experience integrating low-voltage building subsystems using protocols (e.g., Lon, BacNet)
- Proficiency with CAD or drafting tools
