Job Summary
Maintenance-focused Controls Technician (Level 5) responsible for design, construction, modification and maintenance of equipment and machinery in manufacturing to meet throughput, inventory, and operating expense objectives. Performs electrical work, troubleshooting and programming for control systems, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics; develops and updates software, bill of materials, and documentation; trains and mentors maintenance personnel; leads complex projects; ensures compliance with Electrical Code, OSHA, and quality standards; participates in equipment/tooling reviews and collaborations with engineers and vendors; requires strong problem-solving, communication, and hands-on mechanical/electrical skills across PLCs, HMI, robotics, and automation systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate, with technical school degree or equivalent of training or experience required.
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
- Master Electrician license or equivalent.
- Minimum four years of maintenance experience in the automotive industry.
- Three to five years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in automotive interior and systems.
