Controls Journeyman Electrician - Lethbridge

Job Summary
Journeyman Electrician to install, commission and service commercial building automation systems (BMS) and low-voltage systems, work with HVAC and digital control fundamentals, read electrical sketches, perform testing, startup and troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and company policies; on-site in Lethbridge, AB. Responsibilities include installing, wiring, and servicing electrical system equipment, reviewing plans and specifications, assisting with site commissioning and verifications, handling testing tools, and adhering to health, safety, and quality procedures; requires strong troubleshooting, English communication, and experience with HVAC/building automation systems (VFDs/PLC) and related IT/infrastructure assets.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s license
- Clear communications in English – both written and oral
- Experience with low voltage
- Ambitious learner who wants to progress in their career for building systems
- Experience with HVAC, building automation systems and VFD’s an asset
- Experience with programming languages or IT infrastructure an asset
- Experience in PLC an asset
- Ability to read and draw simple electrical sketches and schematics
- Excellent command of the English Language, both written and oral
- Commercial / Construction installations experience
