Job Summary
Gather tools and supplies, measure, cut, and bend conduit (EMT and Rigid), pull cable and wire from device locations to control panels, and perform in-wall rough-in of thermostats. Drill holes for pathways, trace out shorts in low voltage power and signal cabling, and assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening control panels, cable racks, and devices. Maintain assigned tools and equipment while keeping work areas clean of debris. Perform other routine duties and display professional behavior as directed by a Journeyman or Project Manager. Requires reliable transportation and ability to lift 50lbs unassisted multiple times daily. Valid state motor vehicle operator license with clear driving record needed to drive a company vehicle within 150 miles of Memphis, TN, with up to 40% travel time. Normal schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM, with occasional 4/10s, overtime, or weekend work based on project needs.
