Controls Estimator

Controls Estimator II at Trane Technologies specializes in developing detailed cost estimates for HVAC controls projects, including materials, subcontractors, equipment, labor (start-up, service work), and other construction activities. The role requires strong knowledge of Building Automation and HVAC systems, financial acumen, and the ability to negotiate with vendors, manage cost variations with Operations/Fulfillment, and adapt to pre-bid and post-mortem reviews. Candidates should have an engineering-related degree or equivalent experience and a background in estimating or construction management, with willingness to work on-site Monday through Thursday and choose a location on Fridays.
