Job Summary
Seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to lead and mentor an engineering team, support multiple projects, and drive business growth in industrial automation. The role includes designing and implementing integrated electrical and control systems, managing project budgets and schedules, and enhancing client relationships. Candidates must have strong experience in automation, controls integration, and team leadership, with a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent educational background
- 8+ years in industrial automation / controls integration industry
- 3+ years managing and leading a team
- Knowledge of standard engineering practices and procedures
- Experience with process controls instrumentation
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Building Management Systems
- Experience in new construction environment
- Ability to develop PLC and HMI programs in various languages (Schneider Electric, AVEVA, Rockwell)
