Job Summary
Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including schematics, manuals, and standard operating procedures. Provide training and support to production staff on the operation and maintenance of control systems. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control system technology to drive continuous improvement. This full-time, permanent position is based in Fayetteville, IL, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI design
- Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networks
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues with control systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as NEC and UL
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
