Job Summary
Design industrial control panels per UL 508A, NEC, and customer standards using Solidworks, Draftsight, or EPLAN. Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs on Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Emerson, and ABB platforms; create HMI and SCADA applications with WinCC, FactoryTalk View, and Automation Builder. Configure industrial networks including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Modbus; integrate systems with SCADA, MES, and third-party equipment. Perform Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, lead startup activities, and validate system performance against specifications while promoting safety and LEAN practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
- Hands-on programming and troubleshooting multiple platforms of PLCs
- CAD experience, such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
- Troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems
- Electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures
