Job Summary
Controls Engineer responsible for developing, modifying, and troubleshooting PLC and HMI programs; integrating control systems with SQL databases; utilizing C# for system functionality and data handling; assisting with system commissioning and startup at customer sites; and remote/on-site issue resolution. Collaborates with internal teams and customers to ensure successful project execution across multiple sites. Requires 5+ years in controls engineering or automation, Rockwell PLC/HMI experience, SQL/C# skills, strong troubleshooting, and travel to U.S. and Canada up to 40%.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of controls engineering or automation experience
- Experience with PLC/HMI programming (Rockwell preferred)
- Working knowledge of SQL databases and C#
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% - 40% (U.S. and Canada)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with customers
