Job Summary
The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing software for Mecalux Systems of Warehouses and developing programs using proprietary tools. Responsibilities include managing software development for warehouse solutions, conducting installation start-up, validating network connectivity, and checking safety device installations. The role demands collaboration with Project Managers and clients, training customers on operational software, and providing progress reports on tasks. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, have a background in Industrial Automation, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrical, industrial, or mechanical)
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Professional exposure to the field of Industrial Automation
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI and SCADA programming
- C programming language knowledge
- Knowledge of Frequency Inverters parameterization and operation (preferable SEW and Lenze)
- Knowledge of the Fieldbus networks (Profibus, Profinet, etc.)
- Spanish fluency

- Able and willing to travel at least 50%
