Job Summary

Configure systems, database settings, and PLCs for new cells and parts; program robots, HMIs, and PCs as needed. Modify existing production equipment, develop machine control standards, and coordinate project controls to meet timing, quality, and cost targets. Perform hands-on debugging, troubleshooting, and analysis of automation equipment while providing alternative solutions to manufacturing problems. Design new equipment, ensure code compliance, and conduct training for plant personnel. Support production and maintenance teams with technical assistance and safety improvements. Full-time Shelbyville, IN role requiring on-call rotation for 24/7 operations; day shift hours with flexible start.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, robotics, machine vision and CAD
  • Problem solving abilities
