Job Summary
Provide first-level field support for plant instrumentation and controls, managing repair or replacement work for warranted components. Update and create DCS equipment modules involving SFCs and FBDs, while configuring I/O and documentation tasks in the Emerson DeltaV environment. Maintain control system IT/OT assets, perform routine calibration and validation, and develop workflows using C# in the MES batch system. Assist process engineering with hardware specification and support the North Carolina plant with similar duties, requiring up to 20% domestic travel. Report to the Engineering Manager in Bedford Park, Illinois, within a team focused on sustainable chemistry solutions for industrial applications.
Required Qualifications
- 4-Year Engineering Degree
- Experience in instrumentation and control systems
- Experience in programming
- Experience with C#
- Experience with Emerson DeltaV or equivalent DCS environment
- Experience with Savigent/Symphony AI's MES system
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Attention to details
- Proactivity
- Domestic travel
