Controls Engineer

Job Summary
Design and develop control system architectures for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for data center projects. Responsibilities include creating control logic for PLCs and SCADA systems, integrating with HVAC and power distribution, leading commissioning activities, diagnosing issues, and preparing system documentation. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of controls engineering experience, BMS/EPMS experience, and familiarity with industrial communication protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation
- At least 3 years of data center BMS/EPMS experience preferred
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, Ethernet/IP, or other industrial communication protocols
- Understanding of electrical power monitoring, HVAC, and critical facility systems
- Familiarity with instrumentation, control panel design, and network architectures
- Willingness to visit local project sites during installation and commissioning phases
