Controls Engineer - Data Centers

Job Summary
Design and lead automation for data-center building controls, focusing on complex scope execution of EPMS/DCIM/BMS/BAS/SCADA systems. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical design teams to ensure reliability, proper operation, and acceptance of new/modified installations in live, mission-critical environments. Lead design for control panels and UI/UX configuration standards, develop front-end SCADA platforms, and mentor engineers on software standards to foster a learning, growing environment. Develop proposals, manage project scope, schedule and budget, and coordinate resource forecasting and progress reporting with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- BA / BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Licensed PE / EIT / Certifications a Plus
- 4-7+ years with BMS / BCM / BAS Systems / SCADA / DCIM - Building monitoring systems / building control systems / Building Automation Systems
- Experience integrating PLC / ALC with complex data center / mission critical facilities
- Experience with BAS protocols BACnet IP, BACnet MSTP, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP
- Ability to read and audit one-lines / blueprints / CAD drawings and controls diagrams
- Client facing experience and at times serve as primary point of client contact on various projects
- MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Minimal travel
